The BSIA, under Dr. Bessma Momani, is shortlisted to be the Canadian partner in a series of EU funded projects that will help advance the strategic partnership between the EU and Canada. We are looking for two positions to be located in Ottawa starting February 2019. Final results of the grant will be known in December 2018. Both positions are part-time positions.
1. Junior Management Expert
Must have university degree, with at least a postgraduate degree; Fluency in French and English is required. Preferably five years of general professional experience in project management. You will have the responsibility to support the Team Leader in the implementation of the project including drafting specific terms of reference for the action, facilitating exchanges among different EU and Canadian stakeholders, and support the Team Leader in the administrative tasks (organisation of seminars, round tables, etc.). Working experience in international cooperation projects in Canada is an advantage.
2. Junior Communication Expert
You will have the responsibility to support the Team Leader in the implementation of the visibility and communication strategy including drafting specific documents and press releases. You will be in contact with media outlets in cooperation with the EU Delegation Press and Information office. University degree, with at least a postgraduate degree is required; Fluency in French and English is required. Must have strong knowledge of Canadian media and communication environment.
